My avatar wont load.. help

On one of my accounts, my avatar won't load. I'm stuck as a ghost, been changing shape, clothing.. teleporting to various places. Used to 'sit to clear cache', cleared cache.. logged in and out to various places.

What else can I do? Not willing to play the game without seeing me..

I had same problem....a ghost for hours... and after trying various things, I changed my hair base and it worked. Try changing your hair base if your inventory is loaded. Hopefully that will help. Good luck.

Create a folder, name it something easy to find so you can always keep it in your inventory for future use, like Normal Me or whatever.
Put a copy of your usual basic components in there...Skin, shape, eyes, hair (including bald base), huds etc and a basic shirt and pair of pants.
Right click on the folder and select REPLACE

I read this post looking for a solution, and I thought I would post my success after trying a combination of solutions. I was having a very hard time getting the avatar to load. I went from viewer 3 to viewer 2, and had no luck. Anyway...I think this is the absolute last resort.

1) Log in using viewer 1

2) detach all objects, take off all clothing. 

3) Edit appearance, and take off items missed in the "detach all" and "all clothes"

4) try to wear a default avi, and change the hair base

That fixed it for me. From there it was just relogging in viewer 3 and getting set up again.
