sim crossing

why do I have problems crossing some Sims...whether i'm riding on an pod, car or plane, i crash on some Sims but  the object i'm riding in goes through. Is their a problem with my avatar or what ?...Is their a way to prevent this?

Hi harliew,

Sim crossings have always been a problem in SL. All the information needed to describe you must be handed from one sim to another when you approach a crossing. The faster you go, the less time the servers have to do that. And, the more complex your description, the longer it takes to transfer it. So, you can minimize difficulty by slowing for the crossings, and by simplifying your avatar. Remove any attachments you don't really need.
