to reinstall the viewer its best to do a clean install.

top of this page you will see a 4 tabs, the last one is Knowledge base, click to open and type into the search box,

How to uninstall and reinstall second life

from a drop down menu you will what you are looking for click the words or search button.

this will take you to a page in the KB that will tell you how to clean install the viewers.
