How can I give someone edit rights using the official SL viewer ?

Can you tell me the steps to allow somebody edit rights when using the official SL viewer please.

With any viewer (or none at all), open your profile at my.secondlife.com/Sudidi.Surya and click the People tab.  Then find a friend on the list and click the gear icon at the far right side of the column.  Select Permissions and check Edit, delete, or take my objects.

You can open your profile from within the viewer instead if you'd rather.  Same method works.
