How and can I change my log on name?

I would like to change my log on name can this be done and if so how.

Hi Nate (stay away from my dock!),

Unfortunately, you cannot change your log-on name. You can change your display name once a week, and you can reset it to your log-on name at any time. To do that, go to this page...

Click the "Display Name" tip down and enter your new display name there. People will still be able to see your username, but they'll also see your display name.

Personally, I like your current name. You sound amusingly dangerous.

You can't change your user name, but you can create another account, just like you did when you first signed up for SL.  This is called "making an alt."  You can transfer your money and anything with Transfer permissions to your new alt, but not No Transfer type items.

But I agree with Maddy.  I rather like "NateDockWrecker!"
