once you open the viewer, put in your avatar name and password, then you can log into second life game.

once in game press control + F

see the search window, top of it click the places tab.

then type into the search box Help at Caledon

that is a good start to the game, lots of classes and a great tutorial and you meet lots of new comer there to make friends with to explore the game together later.
