Today I discovered that quite a lot of furniture  missing from one of the houses in my store -- on a corner lot. Not only that, but some of the furniture that is left is pushed partly into walls.

I currently have about 2,000 prims left on the sim.

Does anyone have any explanation for this?  I have had customers report this kind of thing before but it is the first time I have had things just disappear or move.

these objects probably have "allow anyone to move" enabled. some people think that randomly moving these objects is comedy gold. they need to get out more.

to find these items quickly, log in with an alt who does not have permission to edit your stuff. Open Build>Pathfinding>Linksets, this will show you all objects in the region that this avatar has permission to move. you can then check and fix the permissions with your regular account.

there is another editor flag, "share with group", that can have similar consequences.

I think I have some hint of what may be affecting my store sims -- although what happened today was on a different sim than the one with the missing furniture.

My asst and I are rearranging the dining dept when  my asst said she could not copy a copy mod prim that belonged to her and got this message:

Excuse my language but really, wtf? What pending pathfinding changes??? I am on OSx on Singularity, my asst is on a PC on Firestorm.

Here is data on my sim:
