All of sudden my avatar appears very bright with shadows on my face when I log in

When I log in I have intense  lighting that creates shadowing on the avatars face..  This jsut happened all of a sudden and it happens in two viewers.   I am NOT using a facelite ...  previous answers assumed that.  I have tried adjusting the graphicd slider to low.  I have all different sky presets nothing changes the "overexposed" contrasting appearance I have tried adjusting the gamma button but again nothing relieves the shadowing     Anybody have any ideas

Posting a picture showing what it looks like might help...

Lights can be in anything, btw, as Madelaine told you in your other post. It doesn't have to be a "facelight" per se. It could be your hair, jewelry, just about anything.

P.S. Click Options / Edit on your post to add info, pictures, etc. No need to start another thread.

Have you tried taking off all your attachments, as we advised previously?
