Hi Luba,

Irene is correct.  You cannot give rights to your inventory.  What you probably did was give rights to your Objects that are rezzed inworld.  This is done from the friends list. (select Friend can edit, delete or take objects)   However, it only effects objects that are rezzed inworld AND it does not override the objects permissions.  So, for example, if you have a chair that is non-transferable and you rezz it inworld (drag it from your inventory onto the ground), chances are that your partner can now move the chair, but they cannot take it into their inventory because it is non-transferable.

There are a couple reasons to allow a friend to edit your inworld objects.  One is when sharing a living space, its nice to let the other person move your things around.   Also useful for owners of malls and clubs to have employees with the ability to move and edit objects.

Hope that helps

What that option mean is that if you (or your partner) has something rezzed, then anyone you give EDIT rights to, can move/modify it in the same way you can.

You didn't give inventory rights to your partner, just the ability to edit things that you own. It's a little confusing...took me a while to figure it out as well ^^
