Question

Bought Lindens from a reseller today, and never received them. I contacted their customer support and was told to contact Linden, because their records show that the money was successfully transferred.

^ The receipt showing that they paid out, but I never received them.

These were gotten from First Meta Exchange, an authorized reseller.

I'm a developer on IMVU, and recently got a huge income, which is going to Secondlife towards opening a shop here. So I sold the credits and bought Lindens.

That receipt seems like you bought IMVU Credits, which are for a completely separate online company and have nothing to do with Second Life. Something looks very fishy there. They call what you bought "credits" but abbreviate them as "LD", which suggests Linden Dollars but Linden Dollars are always abbreviated "L$."

You bought from someone who is NOT an authorized Linden Dollar reseller.  You're lucky if all that happens is that you don't get your money.  You could have got your account suspended.

Only buy $L on the Lindex, or from one of the resellers on this page:  http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Linden_Lab_Official:Linden_Dollar_%28L$%29_Authorized_Reseller_Program

EDIT:  Whoops, am I ever wrong.  Sorry, KarenMichelle is right, First Meta is OK.  Whew.  I read the receipt wrong.

Muyami,

First Meta is an authorized Linden Reseller - so not to worry. https://firstmetaexchange.com/home

Have you reviewed your Transaction History - https://secondlife.com/my/account/transactions.php?lang=en-US

You will see a Gift of Lindens sent to you from the FirstMeta in-world scripted Agent account. It should have some "memo" information in the Description field as well.

If you do not see this transaction then the First Meta support staffer is mistaken. They have to contact Linden Lab. You can not file a Support Ticket to prove a non-event. Only FirstMeta can review the Transaction Logs of  it's in-world scripted Agent account. They need to send this information to LL as an attachment in their Support Request in order for it to be resolved. Linden Lab then can review the Transaction History log of First Meta & compare it to your Transaction History log and make the needed adjustments.

P.S. - That receipt looks like you sold IMVU credits for Linden Dollars. Is this correct?

P.S.S. - Contact the First Meta Exchange support email again and ask for a printed copy of the payment Transfer Transaction to you from their in-world scripted Agent account's Transaction History log. With this information you can then file the Support Request. The Invoice number that First Meta Exchange sent you is useless to Linden Lab in resolving these kind of issues. While it may be included in the Transaction Description Field, LL requires the actual  Date & Time & Transaction ID Prefix.

Good Luck.
