New problem -going into slow motion-whats wrong?-HELP

hi -when i log in everything isfine -2 minutes!-after that everything is going into slow motion -i have the same net connection as before,same comp -i hade never this problem before -is it anything i can do?

How does your packet loss look?  The last line on the "about" report.  SL can experience high packet loss, even when other apps work OK, and your symptoms are typical of what happens when packet loss is high.

ok i anderstand -thank you for your help -its is internet connection that can change this -but i thought maybe something changing in SL preferences could help

One thing I found is if I zoom into something (CTL 0 or 9 . not logged in, one zooms in one cancels zoom) but if you don't cancel out of that (again CTL 0 or 9 ) I find I walk slow, something like slow motion. Just a thought.

hi-yes that happens when i move around -zoom -sometimes tertures on my av changes in skin and mesh-but what to do? nobody knows

I have been having this problem for months now.  I can TP into a sim empty of avies and everything is fine for a while but very soon the lag becomes so bad I have to leave.  Strangely this is almost non-existant in what I call my "home" sim.  I own no land so the name "home" is only because that is where I spend most of my time.  This does not happen on every sim and seems to have no reason due to the complexity of the sim, ie: gardens, city, or whatever.  My stats are all good with no packet loss but with a ping sim into the 200 range.
