Removing scripts to prevent lag

I was wondering about removing the scripts, i got some bangles and it said i could remove scripts but make a copy or else i couldn't edit again so i did that and put it in the scripts folder. But that was small and really no loss because they were free any way.I have a pair of heels and inside has 3 scripts the HUD the walking sound and updates script,if i were to copy this put it in a folder then delete all these can that reduce lag of my avi? Or can i not delete them? i want to reduce as much lag as possible..Any advice much appreciated :)) Thanks in advance!!

you have to make a copy of the total item, not only save the script. So you will have, for example, two bangles, one you wear and deleted the scripts, and a copy of it in your inventory.

Remove the script from the item you wear by using the menu, not manually.

Taking out the scripts and save those will possibly brak the item and you won't be able to change it ever again.

Of course removal of scripts is only possible if the item has mod permissions.
