letoatreides3508
I'm trying to start out here, and I can't find an AO. No one will help me, and I can't find any directories in any of the freebie hubs I go to. Where do I go to get a free AO?
Amethyst Jetaime
This is a good one to start with: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/VISTA-ANIMATIONS-MALE-BASIC-MOCAP-AO-2013/298450 A really good AO will however cost you money. The one above covers the basic animations with four stands a sit, a walk, and a ground sit. The ones you see a lot of more experienced residents using have numerous stands (mine has over 20 that play randomly or by choice), several sits, walks, flys, jumps, hovers, landings, etc. In short they have a selection of animations that cover the entire range of avatar movement and help you convey your mood and personality. letoatreides3508
Ok thanks. Once I get it, is there any way to edit it to add more gestures or movements or whatever?
Bree Giffen
Most of the old Abranimations AOs are free now. They're all pretty good.
Amethyst Jetaime
I can't say for sure, but the regular AO's from Vista allow it. You'll get intructions with it and it will tell you how to add animations if you can do that.

Yes, you can edit . There is a youtube video that shows you how to do it, it's much easier than reading the notecard.
