Why can't I post messages on my.secondlife?

Been trying to post messages on my.secondlife and keep being told the service is not working.   Is this a temporary issue?  Or as LL deciced to get out of the pseudo facebook business?

Take a look at the grid status blog when you have a problem like this.  For the past couple of days, LL has finally been doing some needed maintenance on web sites.  Today, it says

[RESOLVED 11:22 AM PST, 12 December 2013] The unscheduled maintenance is now complete.

[postED 9:55 AM PST, 12 December 2013] We are currently performing unscheduled maintenance on SecondLife.com. During the maintenance, process credits will be unavailable and some Resident’s may be unable to access SecondLife.com. Please check this blog for updates.

As always, take [RESOLVED] with a grain of salt.  Often fixing one problem creates another one, so they may need to pop in to do further maintenance.

I've been trying since yesterday. I can draft a message, however as of a minute ago... when I press send, it just times out after a few seconds
