Skin tone colour lost on ALL my shoes

Hi everyone,

I'm new to Second Life and I really I need some help. I had bought sandals that came with HUDS to change the skin tone & toe nail colour. So I spent hours getting each pair to match my avatars skin. Last night I was changing the texture and colour on a necklace and then  on a pair of shoes. Feeling satisfied I logged off only to log in now and  what do I find? Every  pair of sandals I had edited so the skin tones match my avatar are wrecked! The skin tone has gone white as shown in my screen shots. What have I done wrong???? Is there any way to fix this? Is there any way to lock changes so this doesn't happen again in the future? If there are any threads that explain how to change colours and then to lock the final result please link me. I am so upset. All those long hours of editing have gone to waste. I have destroyed all my shoes :matte-motes-stress:

I just bought the same shoes from the marketplace and they are "still glowing" like this :-(

Try turning off Basic Shaders in Preferences >>> Graphics. See if that helps.

Thanks for the suggestion. I checked and the basic shaders are already turned off. What else can I do? This has been driving me nuts all day. I can't fix it.

Well, let's see if HTTP fetching is the problem.  In Preferences → Graphics → Rendering (tab), disable Use HTTP Textures.  You may need to relog after applying that change to see if there's an effect.
