Money is money as far as Linden Lab is concerned, and I've certainly set up several alts from several email addresses to the same payments account with no problems.

How do I go about doing this with my paypal account please?

You can register Second Life accounts, alts or otherwise, to any Paypal account (as long as you have the permission of the Paypal account holder, of course), if this is what you're concerned about. Go into your dashboard, to the accounts section... in fact see the photo below for where you need to go. Just click on the Paypal option and it will take you to the regular login screen for Paypal. Input usual details. Account named in photo below uses a separate email address to my account.

You're welcome, McKenzie61. Be reassured, many people in SL have alts in Second Life, and have several on different email addresses linked up to one Paypal account.

I tried to do this , and it asked to credit card info which I do not have, my paypal account was verified with my bank account, so what are my options now to link the accounts

I do not know the answer to this unfortunately, as I've not encountered this particular problem, and even tested with the alt in the screenshot above linking an alt to my Paypal account. I don't have a credit card either, my paypal account is linked only to my bank account. What country are you in?

Baffled I am (and now I am talking like Yoda ^^ ). I also had the option to add a credit card, but got away with just adding the paypal information. I'm in UK, but only heard that some europeans were having issues with adding payment info to accounts. Hopefully someone else will happen along and advise/clarify.

Also, I've had a good read of the Knowledge Base, and can find no reason why you would have to add a credit card information as well as PayPal. Tis a puzzle. http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Billing/ta-p/700037#Section_.2.1

LL does not care what e-mail is associated with an accout, in respect to applying payment info. Each of my alts has its own e-mail address. Many of them share the same payment info. Works just fine.
