Running mode

I have found at times, after driving a SZYM police car and detaching its hud, my avatar is placed in a run mode. I have attempted to stop the running by clicking the button that controls walk/run/fly but it remains on run and clicking stop all animation also fails to cease the running. I end up relogging to return to a normal walk mode.

My question is there is another way to stop the run mode that I am missing?

This has happened to me as well. Toggling "Tap-tap-hold to run" in Preference->Move&View->Movement has sometimes fixed it, otherwise a relog.
