Leander Philbin Posted August 15, 2013 Share Posted August 15, 2013 So, I go to login today and I get a message saying there's a mandatory upgrade I need to install before I can login. After installing the update, a new icon appears on my computer's desktop labeled "Second Life Test" in addition to the Release and Beta Viewer icons I already had. What's going on? If that is the case, they have assigned you to a release candidate. You can find the release candidates here: Second Life Alternate Viewers. I don't see your version there. The closest is the CHUI candidate 279849... The main viewer is at 279258. So, I don't know what you have. Nalates Urriah Posted August 15, 2013 Share Posted August 15, 2013 You may want to leave Automatic Update on with "Willing" disabled. That should update you. The new CHUI viewer has a lot of fixes in it. I would use 9849 over the main 9278, which seems to have some texture rendering problems. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
