I tried the following:The usual toggle/relogs, etc.Tried with other accountsUninstalled/reinstalled viewers (Official & Firestorm)Reset cable modem & routerTried another computerReset router to factory defaultsUpdated router firmwareReplaced network cablesCussed at it, cried a bit in frustrationNone of that worked. Then I tried bypassing the router. I can log in with voice. I can use either viewer, the current versions of LL and Firestorm.So, I'm no networking guru - but that sounds wierd. Jenni Darkwatch Posted August 5, 2013 Share Posted August 5, 2013 What model router is it? To me it sounds like the routers NAT isn't working as intended and may need a forward rule set. Gryphon Ronas Posted August 5, 2013 Author Share Posted August 5, 2013 It's a Linksys E4200 that has been working perfectly untill this voice issue popped up According to grid status - there is indeed a problem with the voice servers. But why can I get in on a direct connect to my cable modem, yet not thru my router? Jenni Darkwatch Posted August 5, 2013 Share Posted August 5, 2013 The E4200 should be able to handle voice just fine. Try this: Log in to the router, go to Applications&Gaming->DMZ, enable it, set the source and destination IP to your PC. Gryphon Ronas Posted August 6, 2013 Author Share Posted August 6, 2013 According to Grid Status, i'ts fixed - And I can once again access voice via my router instead of having to hijack the cable connection. I did't do anything else with the router, because frankly, I don't know enough to mess with it. It just started working again.
