Restless Swords
i know almost nothing about animations, but have found a CMU BVH animation that does what i want- avatar kneels downBUT, i want it to then hold that pose as long as the animation is playing- not loop, which goes back to the standing start and then re-kneelsI assume when i upload i could say loop, but starting at 99% mark- but wouldnt that cause massive ongoing load? I really just want the animation to become static at that point.
Ivanova Shostakovich
I believe when you upload an animation into SL, you have the option, if you want part of the animation to loop, of specifying 'loop in' and 'loop out' points in your animation. The wiki has a pretty good explanation of it here:http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Animation_Upload_Loop_Controls
Cyneswith Luik
Hi... you are right - if you loop it in the upload window and set the loop start and end to 100%, that'll just have it stop static on the last frame. But set to 100 rather than 99 or you might get a kick as it jumps from one frame to another. Hope that helps!
