Avatar never showed up

im new but i purchased an avatar from the marketplace on the second life site and it never appeared anywhere. am i supposed to do another step to retrieve it? thank u for any help here

Did you check the Received Items folder at the bottom of your Inventory?  Did you do a key word search in your Inventory?  Did you check your account history?  Sometimes items are received, but not yet seen.  Otherwise, you can use your account history to send a Notecard to the seller and request a resend.
