Why does it say in my profile "Payment info used" when I have never given my payment info?

Question

I have never given my payment info, never tied my SL account to a RL bank account or given my credit card number. For allmost 5 years my profile has read "No payment info used" and now all of a sudden it says I have Payment info  used. Why is that and what action should I take.

That's a really good question.  Open your dashboard at secondlife.com and look at Account >>> Billing Information.  That will tell you what payment methods you have saved in the system and what you have authorized them to be used for.  If that doesn't answer your question, you can call the Linden Lab billing team at the following toll-free numbers:
