Natural Scenic Places?

Anyone have any ideas on any nice scenic, natural places to vist?  Such as forests, meadows, nature trails, etc?

I have a non-mesh viewer, that is several years old, as my computer is ancient and  doesn't handle the more advanced graphics, and so if it is a no mesh sim - all the better.

Come to the SL Public Land Preserve, which was founded in 2004 to help keep some mainland areas open and free for recreational use.

Start in Carlisle next to the Ravenglass tower where you will find a big tree house with a list of landmarks of all the locations, about 30 or so. Just type "Carlisle" into the World Map and you will land near the docks.

 

Most of them are old-school Old World in prim with not too much sculpty and mesh, but some here and there. Mainly prim though, which I prefer myself.

Calas Galadhon Park sims by Tymus Tenk and Truck Meredith are the most stunning parklands in SL ... meadows, forests, mountains, really, I think they have a dozen sims, all of them just lovely, and a good many listed in the destination guide.

Svarga, while not necesarily grasslands is an all prim build and very well done.  Hop on the wasp at the landing point and enjoy the ride.

Also, I think Hawaii Tropical Paradise is all prims and has a great butterfly at the landing point you can use to fly around the Island.
