Region filled with hundreds of scripted megaprims. Is waiting for the three LL people who deal with AR"s really the only solution? Is there no technical soultion? An entire region uninhabitable until the abuser is dealt with (or not dealt with as is usually the case)?

The AR you filed is meant to identify and sanction the person responsible for the problem.  It is not a work order for someone to come and fix it. You or the owner of your sim have the tools needed to remove the objects.  Linden Lab does not usually send a technician out to deal with something like this unless it is a very unusual situation.  I know that's probably annoying, but the fact is that there are enough griefing incidents in SL at any given time that they would be too much for a LL triage team to handle.
