Disappearing Avatar

Hope someone can help me.  I am new to all this.  Bought a Love Scene animation which uses Pose Balls and animation either local or in world.  When I active the pose ball I sink into the ground and then my partner disappears with me.  What are we missing?  Many thanks

It sounds like the pose ball is upside down.  Grab it with your Edit tool and use the green or red circles to flip it over.
