i cant get second life to stat up??

i have sl veiwer2 and when i try to download update it keep crashing before ir starts..unable to find a file or something

".. a file or something?"  If you can tell us exactly what message you are getting, we might be able to help.  It would also be extremely helpful if we knew aboiut your computer and your Internet connection.  What manufacturer and model computer do you have?  How much memory?
