2 things I need help with

There are 2 things that I need help with - anyone got any suggestions....

 

1) I purchased a "Be Used Tool" and when I try to USE it - or even when someone else tries to activate it - the Nearby chat comes up with a message to the effec that I need to 'enable RLV' .... what is that and how do I enable it.  I am using 2nd Life viewe and have been trying to sort it out for a couple of days and I am Stumped ....

 

2) The other thing I need help with is I want to know is there anyway to stop people cameraing in to an area.  I have a secutiry orb - and that keeps people off the area unless I approve them BUT I understand that they can still camera into an area that I would rather them not be able to do....  Is this possible?

1) SL viewers do not support RLV.  You need to switch to a third party viewer, such as Firestorm. 

2)There is no way to stop people from camming where they want to.  If you own land you can set the land under the Options tab so that people outside of the parcel looking in won't see you , but they will still see everything else just not your avatar..

Of course you can't see or hear the people outside anymore either if you enable that setting. It's a give and take!
