i have a question in preference when i put settings on mid its all pink around me how take it off

Anytime you see pink textures your video card is having a problem finding the correct texture. It has to do with the video driver handles indexing the textures. The drivers load textures into the card's video ram and swap them in and out of the active memory for display as needed. When the indexing gets messed up, you see pink.

This problem happens mostly with ATI video cards. Get a new Catalyst driver, as Valerie Inshan recommends, and you should be good.

Also, when you ask a technical question, include information about your computer and viewer. If the viewer will at least show the login screen, get the info from the viewer's Help-About... and paste that into your post with your question. Help->About... provides all the version numbers we need.  To add your info to an existing question use OPTIONS->EDIT. It’s in the upper right of your post.
