Paypal down

Paypal isnt working so I am not sure if any site will allow us to buy lindens?. Will xchange4ls work? Or is linden lab totally down on buying $$$

There's no mention of a PayPal problem (or any other grid-wide problem) on the Grid Status Reports.  What makes you sure that PayPal is "down"?  Yes, you may buy L$ on a third party exchange.  You'll have to try it yourself to see what luck you have.

can't buy anything in marketplace with paypal....

There was a problem charging your payment method.

Be sure that you haven't exceeded the payment limits for your PayPal account this month. By default, your monthly spending limit with PayPal is set to US$250.00. You can easily raise or lower that limit. Also, unless you have verified your PayPal account with a Credit card, you must have a sufficient cash balance in PayPal before Linden Lab will allow you to buy L$. Double check your PayPal account's cash balance.
