I cannot log in to sl!

You're logged into the answers/forums without problems, so can you tell us what happens when you try to log in, like any messages you get.

Theres a whole bunch of stuff to read on the knowedge base about when logins fail. Read this link.

Login Fail

Off the top of my head I'd say though that why your friend across the miles can log in and you can't may be some thing to do with their computer's set up.  You might have got a Firewall blocking your access, or there could be many other causes of login failure. Anyway, read the link I give above.

And to talk more in your thread, top corner is OPTIONS<EDIT and add some more.
