Cerise Sorbet
Hi, the textures are grids of characters, and portions of those textures are displayed on prims that have been flattened to expose several faces on the front. Some of the newer boards are now using mesh objects, because those allow more faces to point in the same direction. See http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/XyzzyText and the similar scripts linked from there. Most display boards like this use these scripts or ones very much like them. IZHRAH
Yes I see what you are trying to tell me. Cerise, make all the faces face in 1 direction. Do you know how to do that?
Rolig Loon
Study the examples that Dora posted, and practice making prim shapes with your in-world building tools. If you are making the display elements with mesh, it's even easier, since you are allowed up to 8 texture faces on an object, and you can place them anywhere. Rufus Darkfold
The first script in "xytext" is for configuring the prim so it has 5 faces the same way. You don't have to do that yourself. It does it and then removes itself, so just drop that script on the prim.
