The easy answer is to move the pieces closer together, or try not to link all of your pieces into a single linkset. The linkability rule can be written as:

There's no way around those. Builders typically make a structure out of several linksets and either pick them up as a coalesced object or package them with a rezbox like Builder's Buddy or Rez-Faux. See http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Build-Tools/ta-p/700039#Section_.5
