we lost some very expencive bedroom funiture in a sim restart how could we possible get it back

Things aren't usually lost irretrievably (or at all) simply because of a sim restart.  The risk arises if the sim crashes or has to be rolled back to a previous state.  If the sim rolls back to a state before you rezzed an object, it will not exist after the rollback.  That's why Linden Lab always advises people to avoid rezzing no-copy items when there's scheduled maintenance. 

All of that aside, it's more likely that the items are either back in your inventory or are elsewhere on the sim.  Take a look here for the most common issues and how to resolve them  >>> http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Lost_inventory .  At the bottom of that page, note LL's advice that "The steps above can often recover inventory that appeared lost. If you have a Premium account, you may also submit a case to Support here. "  When thing really are lost -- except as I outlined above -- the support staff can often recover them if you provide enough information.
