What happens if I go over my 117 prims in my little house? I am using the basic linden home chosen when i first signed up. So this is just a little confusing to me.

Even though the 117 prims available with a Linden Home are a good deal compared with "regular" 512 sq meter land parcels, they still go fast.  You will need to shop for furniture with a close eye on its Land Impact/prim count.

Remember that the Linden Homes are intended as a "starter" home.  It's perfectly understandable if you soon have the desire for a bigger piece of land and more prims.
