Access house control panel

When I try to access the control panel of my premium account house I get the following error message:

Governor Linden's 'Home Control Panel'

Sorry. only the homeowner may access the house controls.

OKAY

 

what's wrong? - I thought this is my house

The control panel should recognize you as the new owner.  If it doesn't, you can contact Live Chat or (slower) submit a support ticket to have someone look at it.  Meanwhile, the control panel is a nice feature but at least a malfunction isn't life-threatening --- just annoying.  Locks on doors in SL are meaningless, since anyone can enter by simply sitting on a convenient surface in the house.  WIndow blanking is also meaningless, because anyone can use his camera view to see what's going on.  Not being able to turn on the fireplace is a real bummer, though .......
