Blender Sculpt Maps from scratch producing strange results

Good morning all,

After using various scripts (which are great) I decided to work from scratch and set blender up to build the UV maps using generated textures.

 

I have followed the following two websites:

 I can create a UV Map that looks correct but when I upload it to SL is distorts!

Curiously, if I download the example from Amanda's page that uploads correctly.

 

Following the examples and producing an ordinary cylinder with no caps and then baking the textures

The above image is created by me and produces this - definately not a cylinder!

Where as if I use Amanda's example file I get perfect results!

I'm hoping that one of you fine people will be able to spot what's going on and point me in the right direction. I really thought I had this nailed!
