Bunky Snowbear
Hi moviemakers! I'm currently working on my masterpiece (lol), a retro zombie apocalypse love story road movie to add to my folio of B grade shockers. The sim I had lined up to do a lot of the filming in has poofed :( so I was wondering if anyone knows of any sims that may be a good alternative. I basically need sims with desert, mountains and road and not too many buildings. Run down buildings would be ideal. I'm kind of looking for that southwest USA/New Mexico/end of the world feel that lloks great at sunset. The ability to rez would be a bonus. I'm all over Wastelands, but the roads are too bumby to drive on lol. I'm also looking for a shabby rundown motel for some exterior shots. Any advice would be awesomely appreciated. Ta! Chic Aeon
Try talking to a group leader at Abduction Alley for permission to film . The Land info says "photographers welcome" so I am thinking an OK for machinima would most likely happen. Very New Mexico, abandoned town. Long road. Some auto cars on road but you could derender. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Nestlefire/161/28/
Afrodite Sands
I'd be happy to stop traffic at Abduction alley-Nestlefire region for shooting a movie. You can contact me or a Sheriff to arrange for you and your crew to get a group-tag ,so yawl can rezz whatever you need . We had plans ourselves to shoot a movie someday, but then most of the enthousiastic people went on to do something else again,i recom.Like allover SL. We encourage everyone to use the region as you please, without desturbing residents peace, and rezzing permanent items. Please clean up after you used. Have a good time!
