Laptop graphics advice

I have little choice as I travel a lot but to have a  good gamimg laptop, and its time for an upgrade,

 

I am looking at the alienware machines and have a couple of graphics choice HD7970M or GTX675M.. Any advice on which would be better for secondlife, and could I run ultra on these, and does NVIDIA optimus still have the old graphics problem in booting up in wrong graphics

Going by the benchmarks, I'd say the Radeon is superior. It's near the top where all the fast desktop cards are.

Bear in mind these are just benchmarks, the cards might perform different playing SL.

Again going by the benchmarks you shouldn't have problems playing SL on ultra settings with the 7979M, as long as you can keep the laptop cool enough.
