Some parts of the mesh do not upload

Here is a picture of a .dae file I exported out of Blender as part of a porch:

 

Here is how it uploads -- no ceiling:

 

 

I have exported again but I can see in the uploader preview window that there is no ceiling there.

Anyone seen this before?  I don't think the problem can be Blender because the .dae looks fine.

 

ETA:  This is a single mesh.

I imported the missing ceiling fine by itself -- however, when I applied the texture, it was messed up.  This evening my power went out and the updated version of the UV was not saved -- although the texture baked from it was.

Not sure if that is relevant.

Did you check that the normals were facing the right way? Also, are you using more than 8 material ids? If you use more than 8, the geometry with the extra materials will look invisible in world.

If you have more than eight materials you can either upload it as its own object or make it a separate object in Blender in that scene, then it will upload happily.
