Lukeh Ghost
I swear this will be last post asking a how-to =P Besides someone else can find this useful hopefully.Anywho, I mapped out the UV Nicely, unwrapped it, exported it as a .PNG took it to Photoshop put a texture to it brought it back to Blender and placed it onto my model so how do I export it as a .DAE with the texture included on it? I feel I'm missing something because whenever I bring it to Second Life it's just a white model. Thanks in advanced :) OH OH OH sorry forgot to mention it's a rigged T-Shirt mesh model. Fluffy Sharkfin
Just upload the .PNG file to SL the same as you would any other texture, then rez your uploaded mesh model and apply the texture, just like texturing a regular prim.
Lukeh Ghost
I tried that but the mesh goes grey it's like all the seaming, and UV mapping data is just not there
Tara Chester
Try setting "planar" surfaces type on your model, and then upload.
Lukeh Ghost
I've honestly no idea how to that in Blender 2.59 lol !
Tara Chester
Me neither. That's why I don't use Blender, but this is how I solved the same problem in some other 3d software. People call Blender's interface "non-intuitive", I call it "stupid". Sorry, maybe someone else will come along to help you with this.
Ashasekayi Ra
There's a bug that won't let you upload textures with a rigged dae file from Blender. So, you'll just have to manually apply them in SL. As for your textures still not working once in SL, that is a mystery. I'd have to see the .blend file to have a clue about the problem.
