mesh permission bug?

i just discovered this, not sure if it's a bug but i otherwise can't think of any good reason for it to be.

i wear a mesh i made, i can of course stretch it. i give it to someone else with copy-mod-no trans permissions. they can modify it any which way EXCEPT stretch. yet if i give it to them with trans permission they can then stretch it.

why isn't modify permission enough to let someone actually modify the object?

is it me or does this not make sense?

It definitely doesn't sound right to me (unless I'm missing something too). Am I correct in assuming this is a worn attachment-only mesh? (Non-rigged)?

I would think this is worthy of a JIRA. Mod means Mod in my eyes... transfer perms shouldn't even enter the equation.

EDIT TO REPLY BELOW: Still.. definitely worthy of a mention, Bouttime. If it's just a one-off glitch in your viewer, I guess it's not an issue, but definitely worth keeping an eye out for potential repeat occurrences.

well i don't know what happened but its back to normal now.

I'm surprise, I get told and WARNED yeah, capital WARNED lol, that residing rigged mesh clothing in world is a big no no?
