I need help with trying to make an animation to let the avatar sit and to set stuff on a table..

It's hard to help until you show us what you've done so far so we have some idea where the problem is.  If you haven't started yet, take a look at

You'll need to use both functions in your script, so reading how to handle them and looking at a few examples on those pages will give you a start.

If you actually need help with making the animation, not just activating it, you'll need to ask in the Animation forum.  We don't do that here.
