Halloween season officially starts tomorrow and we have already dusted off the Haunted Category for you!

There are a couple of events and one destination that are opening this weekend that I wanted to highlight:

• Rock Your Rack 2022 - The 10th Annual Rock Your Rack Event runs from October 1-16 and raises funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Find it under Featured Events starting October 1st!
• Out Shop Cancer 2022 - Out Shop Cancer is a shopping event and grid-wide hunt running from October 1- 31 benefitting the American Cancer Society. Find it under Featured Events starting October 1st!
• Nightmare in New Orleans - A new haunted and realistic destination of virtual New Orleans, in a post-apocalyptic and dystopic environment. It is incredibly well done and opens to the public on October 2nd. Find it in Editors Picks starting then!

Everwinter

Welcome to Everwinter, a post-apocalyptic theme park. Many years after a nuclear disaster, Everwinter sits frozen in time. Frequented by scavengers and those lucky enough to survive, only time will tell how long you'll last in Everwinter.

Laurel's Nightmare 2022

Halloween is back! Enter the dark castle, and accept the experience portal to see 23 scenes of some of the biggest horror movie icons of all time! There is also a nightclub for costume-themed events, join the group for notifications for the October spooky events!

Worth it all

It is a cold October night when you reach that little village. The fog becomes denser and denser and it's getting colder and colder. The cold goes through your clothes and you feel a cold hand grab your heart. Something is different here. Something is weird. You pass the town wall. You hear whispers and murmurs. Where are the people? The sound of music is coming from somewhere. The fog is getting even denser, and all of a sudden you see a mountain in front of you. On top of it, there is a building ... you can spot a light ... maybe you could ask there for the way ... or ... better not?

SL's Top Haunted Places Tour & Hunt

It is time for the 13th year of SL's Top Haunted Places Tour & Hunt! There are many fantastic haunted places and hunts grid-wide for you to explore along with shopping at some of SL's best Halloween stores! Approximately 100 listings each year. Get your list from the sign at each Haunt and go in any order you like. New ones are added all month long, so check the sign often. The event runs from October 1st to 31st.
