Lua Aurelia
Hello. I'm trying to make a mannequin that I can manipulate in Blender that I can then upload into SL for my store's display. I tried posing the SL avatar model that I use to build mesh with by manipulating its bones. When I pose and then export it as a Collada file, it uploads with the default T-pose. Here's some images: What I need in SL: What I get when I upload: How would I get a mesh model to place in my store to have that pose? Thanks,Shinga ZahmDiGi.CEO
Min Barzane
Export from blender to obj file so pose stucks than import back to blender, apply pos/rot/size and export as dae for SL. Done! NEEEEXT
Nalates Urriah
You need to pose the avatar as you have, then APPLY the armature modifier before you export the mesh. In AvaStar there is a FREEZE that does all the steps for you. Be sure to save your file before you Apply/Freeze the mesh pose. I usually do the export then immediately press Cntrl-Z after the export to restore the avatar mesh to a pose-able state.
