why does stuff disapear from my inventory

stuff keeps disapearing from my inventory does anyone know what this is about

If you rez a No Copy item from your inventory, or wear it, it disappears from your inventory while it is in world.  No Copy items can only be in one place at a time, because...well, they are No Copy, savvy?

If you have a lot of stolen, copybotted stuff in your inventory, and the real creator files a DMCA notice against the copybotter, LL will remove the stuff from your (and everyone else's) inventory and replace it with generic items.  In this case, you'll get an email from LL telling you what they did.

If your local inventory cache on your computer gets corrupted, you can apparently lose stuff, but you can generally get it back.  See this link for helpful suggestions: http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/fs_missing_inventory

If none of the above seems to help, you can file a Support Case with Linden Lab.  However, you can only get this level of tech support if you are a Premium member.  If you have lost a lot of expensive things, it may be worth while to take out a one month Premium membership.

There are many reasons, including if you have more than 10,000 items in a single folder (or subfolder).  Your viewer will only load about that many items before it times out, so you dont get the full list.

open your inventroy and look for the lost and found folder.

they are normally in there
