Hello Hamid and welcome to SL Forums. The error Second Life cannot be accessed from this computer generally indicates you have been blocked from the Second Life servers by Linden Lab as the result of:

  • Documented cases of fraud
  • Use of Second Life by a minor
  • Exceptionally flagrant abuse activity

If so, you got a mail explaining why.

Note that someone else in your household may be responsible for this activity, not necessariliy with your account. Your account may also have been put on hold by mistake.

If you believe that this is an error, submit a support ticket via the support portal. To help customer support determine what block has been placed and why, include in the ticket your Second Life account name and any Second Life accounts that log in from your location.

If it persists then your status is machine-banned meaning SL will not allow logins from your computer specifically.

To test if this may the case, try logging in using someone else's computer.

If you were machine banned, here are the causes:

1. You violated some rule and got banned. If you cannot login from the other computer, possibly both your account and machine were banned.

2. Someone violated the rules with a machine that generates the same hash code as yours, either deliberately or by spoofing. If you can login to your account from that other computer, then this is the likelier cause.

3. The dynamic IP issue as described above.

Another possibility is your av is under investigation for participation in gambling (may be from one of the many camping sites you visited). And access will be restored if all is well.

Course of action: If symptoms persist, file a ticket with support then wait for a response. File your ticket under the Account tab.

Welcome to Second Life Answers, Hamid.

Please reset your modem and try again.

If you still have the same problem, look in your email inbox, as you may have been suspended for something, and if this is the case, Linden Lab will have sent you a notification.

Any other advice I have is same as others who have posted here.

Good luck, and please let us know of any changes in your situation, as this will be helpful to other people with a similar issue to your own.
