Create Landmarks button cannot be unchecked

I let someone come to my place the other night and she asked if she could come back to visit.  I said sure, and then she wanted to bring a friend.  I have tried everything I know to uncheck the "allow others to create landmarks here" box, but it won't un-check.  I don't want to come on some night and see strangers all over the place.  What should I do?  Is this just some sort of new SL glitch?  I've never had problems with this before.

I have had this issue too I am a sales agent ( land) and several of our clients have had this issue lately. I am not sure what support did but contact an estate manager; if you have EM rights contact your estate support or owner.

My own solution is a scripted device that does a quick scan of my parcel every 30 seconds when I am not there, identifies anyone who is not on a whitelist, and sends a greeting that says just "Hello, <name>," followed by a date and time stamp.  If a person is still there 30 seconds later, he hears it again, and again, and again.  It's friendly but persistent and, after a short while, mildly annoying.  People rarely stay more than a minute.  The device shuts off when I am around, so I can welcome (or turn away) visitors myself when I am at home.
