If you use a Walmart money card, the first card is one you purchase off the shelf and then use the verification number from the store receipt. If you, or when you register/activate the card, you should receive an additional Card in the mail. The card sent from Walmart will have the name used to register the first card. This second card is supposed to be reloaded with future funds.

My focus is on the second card sent in the mail. I only used the first card 1x, but received the reload card in the mail. I think the second (reload-able) card sent is more like a debit or credit card than it is a money card. SL may accept that card. It would take time as I described to go through the process but if it works, you would have a reliable form of payment.

As Knowl described..they do take the one that is mailed to you with your name imprinted on it.  That is the one I use with no trouble
