objects not rezing on owned land

i have it set for everyone to place objects and rez prims on my land but when i try to place an object from my inventory is says that the land owner (that's me0 didn't give permission to do so.  Why?

That's often just a glitch that can happen if you're trying to rezz things on top of some mesh objects or possibly Linden water.

You can test things by rezzing the object on bare ground.

I have had this happen if my camera is positioned over land I don't have rezzing rights on, even if the spot I'm trying to rez on is on land where I do.  Try moving your camera position.

This is a glitch that also sometimes happens if the sim needs a restart. So if you try rezzing otherwise and it doesnt work, do a sim restart to fix it.
