I understand your pain and your wishes. The only way that you are likely to get any consideration for your unusual request is to ask Linden Lab, by submitting a support case.  Before that, however, you should read http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Linden_Lab_Official:Death_and_other_worries_outside_Second_Life .  Note also that the TOS prohibits you from using another person's login information -- even if that person has died.  Unless you get a special consideration from the Lab, therefore, you could put your own account in jeopardy by accessing your partner's account.
